Locum work gives you the freedom and flexibility to work when and where you want. You have the ability to create your own schedule, choose which placements you accept, and how long you want to stay. For many people, the stability of a full-time position is desirable; for others, locum work gives them the freedom they crave. Dr. Yury Rapoport is the Director of the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Tufts University. Today he joins the show to share his experience with locum jobs throughout the pandemic and his advice for those considering going this route.
